More than 20 celebrities walked the runway Thursday night in red designer gowns to demonstrate support for women’s heart health.
The bevy of beautiful women in beautiful dresses were all at the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection 2016 presented by Macy’s show during New York Fashion Week to bring awareness to a serious issue – that an estimated 44 million women in the U.S. are affected by cardiovascular diseases. One in three of women’s deaths each year are caused by heart diseases and stroke.
Participating designers in the show this year include Badgley Mischka, Pamella Roland and Nicole Miller.
